Genomics is the study of the whole genome of an organism. Health and research organizations are planning to employ genome sequencing for the diagnosis of various diseases. This initiative will help in providing access to clinical whole genome sequencing (cWGS) and will help in the diagnosis of genetic diseases. Evidence suggests that early exploitation of cWGS could be useful in delivering a precise molecular diagnosis, which will, in turn, change medical management and will help in declining the cases of complex and chronic genetic diseases specifically for newborns and children.
