A supply chain is an association between an organization and its suppliers for manufacturing and distributing a particular product to the consumers. The association may involve different entities, including companies, individuals, technology, resources, activities, etc. A supply chain represents the transformation of materials and components involved in the manufacturing of a product into a final product that is ultimately delivered to the consumer. Healthcare supply chain management is the regulation of healthcare processes (goods and services) from an operator to a patient. Supply chain solutions are meant for delivering products or services to consumers, and their management is a complex and fragmented process.
