Various connected imaging devices may include digital still cameras, digital camcorders with wireless WAN digital cellular connections, or digital camcorders embedded with wireless LAN (WLAN). Connected imaging devices with a wireless connection are specifically used for sharing photos to your PC. Connected imaging devices in healthcare are used to collect, analyze, and transmit images to internal hospital servers or cloud-based storage.
