Houston Methodist Enters the Metaverse with Launch of new Mitieverse™ App
The MITIEverseTM, a new app committed to health care education, training, and innovation, offers hands-on practise, remote guidance from expert doctors, and more to medical and scientific learners. The software, created in collaboration with FundamentalVR, takes users into specialised showcase rooms, surgical simulations, and lectures from Houston Methodist faculty and international collaborators. Houston Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation and Education (MITIESM) is a hands-on clinical training facility for health care workers looking to keep up-to-date with best practises and pick up new skills. “MITIESM is known for its hands-on training and instruction, and this new app expands that reach to a new virtual audience.
